Field scientists from the Forest Preserves of Cook County and NGSS experts from the Illinois Science Teaching Association present:   

FOREST ECOLOGY 

A 3-day workshop dedicated to helping you see the forest in addition to the trees. Learn how to identify trees, measure forest health, understand the forest’s past and even predict its future. You will leave confident in teaching students how to read the landscape by measuring biotic and abiotic factors of their environment.
