Annual Conference For over forty year, ISTA has brought together Illinois science educators at our annual conference. Major speakers, field experts, teacher leaders, hands-on workshops, and commercial and non-commercial exhibits are a few highlights of this outstanding program of renewal and professional development.
Professional Learning Members have access to ISTA professional learning, ISTA partners professional learning, and earn PDCHs.
Discounts Members receive discounts to ISTA sponsored conferences and regional events.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Regular Membership is available to individuals in pre-K to 12 education and administrations, individuals in informal and higher education, and others who support the purpose of ISTA. The annual rate is $35.

Special membership is available to preservice, new, and retired teachers, as well as members of educational (department/school/district) institutions or institutions related to science education. Schools or school districts wanting to provide memberships to multiple staff members are eligible for a discount rate. Contact the ISTA Finance Director via email for details: finance@ilscience.org

Preservice Membership - $10.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Open to current preservice teachers for only $10. Come join ISTA as you prepare to be a part of our profession.

Initial License Membership - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Full membership benefits to beginning teacher in the first to fifth year of teaching including voting privileges; and the opportunity to hold an ISTA Officer position.

Institutional Membership Informal Education - $75.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 3 members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Entitles the institution for a period of one year all benefits of ISTA membership for three individuals. Contact ISTA's Financial Director at finance@ilscience.org if you wish to have more than three memberships.

Retired Teacher - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Retired teachers may take advantage of this discounted rate.
