Join ISTA for a night of looking up and ahead in the Davis Hall Observatory at Northern Illinois University! This event will bring together pre-service teachers and experienced educators to share their passion for all things science and education. You will have the chance to learn about the night sky using the observatory’s telescopes. 

Connect with fellow educators, share experiences, and create valuable partnerships that will enrich your journey in the field of science education. Whether you're a seasoned educator or just beginning your teaching career, this event offers a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge, build meaningful connections, and inspire the next generation of scientists.

Come join us as we gaze into the cosmos, exchange ideas, and empower each other to reach new heights in science education. See you at the Observatory!

*If weather is not ideal for stargazing, this event will be moved to April 13th. 

**The observatory requires a walk up 52 stairs. Telescopes will also be available on the lawn in front of the observatory for anyone who is not able to use the stairs.
