CONFERENCE OVERVIEW

"Educating in the Future" is the theme for this year’s Science in the South Conference. Sessions will focus on advances in science and pedagogical approaches that allow our students to be a part of building a quality future. Our conference goal is to support K-12 educators with content knowledge, educator growth, and student learning.

Whether you are a first year teacher looking for new ideas or a veteran teacher looking for ways to energize your classroom, the Science in the South Conference provides ample opportunities to connect with educators, explore ways to share science information, earn PD credits, and to just have a great time learning. Earn up to 5.0 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for attending and participating.

8:00 am: Registration and Continental Breakfast and Networking

9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Sessions

12:00 pm: Lunch and Making the Most of Your ISTA Membership

1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Sessions

3:00 pm: Wine/Beer & Cheese Social and Giveaways!
